There are over 25 types of fresh fruits and vegetables grown by farmers in the region, with the largest crops being beans, collards greens, peaches, pecans, and watermelons. While some farms are entirely for produce, some exclusivley raise livestock like chickens, cows, hogs, and turkeys.
